Success for new Open Air Theatre event

Back from Neverland...on Saturday 5th August, Holker Hall's Courtyard team welcomed the Chapterhouse Theatre company production of Peter Pan.

Over 300 guests joined Peter Pan, Wendy, Michael and John Darling on their adventures far away on the magical island of Neverland.

Enchanting mermaids, magical fairies and the cruellest pirate of them all, Captain Hook kept the audience engaged on this magical and more importantly, dry and bright evening.

The Courtyard team and Chapterhouse presented this by special arrangement with Samuel French and in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, J.M.Barrie’s timeless classic was brought to life in a brand new adaptation by award winning writer Laura Turner, with beautifully designed costumes, music and songs.

The pizza’s freshly prepared by the Courtyard team were a particular hit with guests, many of whom also chose to bring along picnic's to enjoy in the grounds.

This was the first garden theatre event to be hosted at Holker Hall by the Courtyard team whilst under the management of catering business, Campbell & Rowley, however we anticipate that it won’t be the last, watch this space…
